Meet Doc G...
Dr. Scott Grant grew up the son of teachers & coaches in a small northwest Ohio town, and knew his life would involve education and helping others in some way.
​
After graduating with an undergraduate degree in education, and spending two years working in college athletics and pursuing his MBA, he began his career has a high school teacher / varsity head coach, and after 5 years became the Director of Athletics, Activities, and Facilities at Van Buren Local Schools.
He then completed a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, with a research focus on issues concerning Interscholastic Athletics & K12 education. Its was during this time he developed
Triple Threat Leadership, LLC., (www.triplethreatleadership.com) a consulting firm that assists individuals as well as schools and organizations with social media strategy development, brand initiative activations, and leadership development workshops. Since 2017, Dr. Grant has worked with over 300+ different organizations and enrolled nearly 10,000 students in his “Branding of ME” Online Course helping them develop a proactive & positive brand strategy in person, and online.

Additionally, in 2018, Dr. Grant gave a TedX talk titled “Ties & Tennies, a Pathway for Engagement”, which outlined his belief on how branding can be an activated engagement tool. (https://bit.ly/DrScottGrant-TedX-Branding-Talk)
Following his time in public education, he spent 7 years as an Assistant Professor of Business, Leadership, & Marketing, before becoming the Director of Operations, Outreach, and Leadership Development in athletics at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he worked directly with student athletes / coaches on brand development programming, social media strategy, and preparation for NIL (name, image, likeness).

Dr. Grant recently returned to the Findlay area and is an Assistant Professor in the College of Education at The University of Findlay teaching Leadership Development & Social Media / Branding.
​
It is his mission to provide support and resources to students, athletes, coaches, ad's, administrators, parents, and anyone else in the high school space trying to prepare to be successful in life!
He currently resides in Findlay, Ohio with his wife Elizabeth, an ICU nurse, 8-year-old twin sons Paxton & Knox, and 2-year old son Gavin.
